FAP held REG to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.4 percent accuracy of the winners. FAP forced 24 REG turnovers. 30 personal fouls committed by REG helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Deshaun Morman (193-1994, college: Towson) stepped up and scored 14 points for the winners and his fellow American import center Tyjhai Byers (211-1998, college: ECSU) chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. Byers is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jean Nshobozwa (193-1998) scored 7 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Dane Miller (203-1990, college: Rutgers) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and center Oumar Barry (211-1996, college: SJSU, agency: Helping Ballers) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Forward Pieter Prinsloo (208-1992, college: Marist) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and American Billy Preston (209-1997, college: Kansas) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
